Private Barrel Program Design your own whiskey blend Private Barrel Club (“PBC”) is a customizable program that offers individuals, or groups of up to six, the unique experience of creating their own private-label whiskey for their own collection and consumption, or to use as gifts. You and up to five other team members (must be 21 or older) will participate in unique hand-on sessions at the distillery to design a whiskey blend, age the whiskey in your own premium 5-gallon barrel, select and design a custom label, and bottle your whiskey when ready. How many 750ML bottles will I get? It depends on variables and factors and the final bottle-proof selected, but generally 24-30. Can my Private Barrel Club whiskey be shipped? No, not at this time. California and other states to not allow it and are not likely to allow it anytime soon. Will the whiskey taste good? The blend will be your choice, but we use the same raw materials and process as for our award winning whiskeys. How long does it take? After blending and filling the barrel, your whiskey should be ready to bottle in 6-12 months. During visits to the distillery, you can taste it along the way to help decide when ready to bottle. How much does it cost? The standard program cost is $1890.00 for one 5-gallon barrel, and $1,520.00 for an optional second barrel (second barrel requires same blend and label). A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at membership sign-up, the balance is due on or before bottling day. Are there program enhancements available? Yes. For $200 members can order an additional session to learn more about whiskey (including a tasting of 5 high-end varieties). Members can also spend $250 to get a custom bottle & label subject to availability. What happens to my barrel? It is yours to keep. You can reuse it to age other things like beer, wine, other spirits & maple syrup. You can display it on the shelf or use it for crafts. Can I change my mind and get a refund? Only if requested in writing before the Blending Session. P29 incurrs significant expenses to provide members this unique experience, and there are limited slots that your membership fee reserves.
